Don't worry, you'll get the hang of things as you go along, first tip, dyes, any dye you find, hold onto it for later. You'll see exactly what I mean later when you decide to finally 'leave everything behind' so to speak. .

Sorry to be so cryptic friend but I like to not spoil suprises for new players.

You start off in pre-searing, which is easy as, well, pre-searing.

To get gold, go slaughter some crap

Heh, they aren't just being sarcastic jerks here. Seriously, gold is easy to come by in this game. It's more of a formality than anything really. You'll rarely find yourself lacking much.

100 for the guild 2000 for the cape I believe.

Believe us, gold comes easier as the game goes along. Have fun and welcome to Guild Wars!

A hint as well, be sure to gather skale fins or worn belts, a collector can give you a belt pouch, so you can carry more and so later you won't have to pay 100 gold for it.

You'll find them when you roam around in the game they aren't hard to spot. Don't worry too much about it, you'll get the hang of everything rather quickly, there are some guides on this site that can help ya if you really need it too.
